Y & H Soda Foundation Change in Leadership

On December 31, 2007 Y & H Soda Foundation‘s Executive Director Judy Murphy will retire after 18 years of service to the foundation. During Judy’s tenure the Foundation has grown its assets from $45 to $150 million, increased from one to eight staff, and recently acquired a permanent home in Moraga. She will remain actively involved with the foundation by continuing in her role as a member of our Board of Directors.

Effective January 1, 2008 Bob Uyeki will be promoted to Executive Director of Y & H Soda Foundation. Bob has served as the foundation’s Senior Program Officer for the past three years and is responsible for overseeing the foundation’s responsive grantmaking program and community leadership work. He has more than 20 years of philanthropic and nonprofit leadership experience in the Bay Area, having previously served as a Program Officer at the East Bay Community Foundation, a Program Coordinator at The San Francisco Foundation, and Director of the San Francisco Asian American International Film Festival.
